To celebrate the 50th anniversary of women’s participation in the Boston Marathon, our adidas North America Brand Design team was asked to create a 35-foot mural for the adidas Fan Fest held near the finish line of the race.
As Associate Creative Director, I led a team that created a concept to celebrate the moment. Using an image of the seven original women participants, we created and printed a templated design then contracted a local artist to paint details into the mural after installation.
